v5.02s

Release of Remote-SDR v5.02 to remotely control an SDR receiver and an SDR transmitter from a web browser. It is the complete source code. Pre-configured for HAM Radio HF/VHF/UHF bands and QO-100 Es'Hail 2 satellite transponder. Can be used for any NBFM, SSB or CW Radio transmitter from 1MHz up to 6 GHz. The receiver modes are NBFM, WBFM, SSB, CW, AM. It works in Full-Duplex with Adalm-Pluto SDR, RTL-SDR , Hack RF One SDR,SDR Play RSP1, RSP1A or SA818. RTTY Decoder and Encoder is also provided. External output/input are available to connect via a virtual audio cable, any other application.

This version 5.02 runs on :

Raspberry Pi 4B with 2GB or more memory Orange Pi Zero 2

New features are proposed in the version 5 as:

SDR Play (RSP1, RSP1A) Receiver sharing between different users Option to select a simplified GUI (graphic User Interface) to reduce internet browser workload if needed If you have already installed Remote SDR in version 4.5 or before, this version 5 is completely new. Apache web server has been replaced by Node JS. GNU-RADIO 3.8 replaced by version 3.9. You cannot update from 4.5 to 5.02. This source code is needed if you do a manual installation. As it is a long and complicated process, I recommend using an image for Raspberry Pi 4B or Orange Pi Zero 2. The source has to be installed in /remsdr directory in addition to the existing files and directories created during the manual installation. To simplify the access to the different files, make : chmod 777 -R /remsdr

In case of any blocking situation, go on the Tools page and select the "Reset Local Storage in browser". It will clean the history and restart on a clean configuration.
