  • All changes made by ProjectFNF are now applied via git mailbox patches. Read CONTRIBUTING.md for information on how to use them as a developer
  • Updated Psych Engine to 0.6.2
  • Removed toggle 'Opponent Notes Do Damage' in favor of 'Damage from Opponent Notes'
  • Removed toggle 'Move Camera in Note Direction' and replaced with more customizable 'Camera Move Intensity'
  • Removed toggle 'Shake on Miss' and replaced with more customizable 'Miss Shake Intensity'
  • Removed toggle 'Max Optimization' and replaced with 'Hide All Non-Character Sprites', 'Hide Opponent', 'Hide GF' and 'Hide BF'
  • Removed toggle 'Enable Vignette' and replaced with more customizable 'Vignette Strength'
  • Theoretical score is now calculated properly when using osu!mania score
  • osu!mania score is now capped at 1 million to match the original game
  • Fixed performance rating jumping when a song changes speed mid-way
  • Performance rating no longer gets affected by ghost/press misses
  • Reworked performance rating multiplier once again
  • Removed hidden Hard Mode (this is not related to song difficulties)
  • Added gameplay changer 'Starting Health'
  • Added gameplay changer 'Max Health'
  • Added gameplay changer 'Mirror Boyfriend Notes'

  • You can now configure the Damage per Second when using Temporary Karma
  • You can now configure the amount of health that Temporary Karma will drain for each miss

  • You can now use both Permanent and Temporary Karma at the same time
  • You can separately change player's and opponent's lane underlay opacities
  • Lane underlays now consume slightly less memory
  • Added a smooth transition to the Outdated screen
  • You can now change the stunlock timer when using Stuns Block Inputs
  • Reduced memory allocations when using Stuns Block Inputs
  • Notes that will be impossible to hit due to Stuns Block Inputs will be transparent
  • Fixed icons being misplaced vertically when using a Vertical Health Bar and Upscroll
  • If you aren't able to hit notes because of a freeze, you won't receive misses for them and won't lose health

KNOWN ISSUES: #41: 'VS Whitty - The Definitive Edition' mod will crash after the lo-fight cutscene. The issue has not been identified yet and any help is appreciated (see the original report). Workaround: Delete /data/lo-fight/script.lua and any other song-specific scripts which crash (they shouldn't contain code that is important for gameplay)

this one is HUGE

  • Added visual option 'Vertical health bar' (can be put on both left and right!)
  • Added gameplay switch 'Score' (current options are 'Vanilla' and 'osu!mania')
  • Enabled update checking
  • Fixed player rating decreasing when playing very long songs
  • Make health gain proportional to health drained (health that is lost inevitably)
  • Added back PFNF Legacy (pre-2.0) HUD!
  • Added 'Accuracy' switch (current options are 'Psych', 'Millisecond-based', 'osu!mania (normal)' and 'osu!mania (strict)', strict requires MFC for 100% accuracy)

Hotfix release because of a critical health bug

  • Fix temp karma blocking health gain even when disabled

    • It is millisecond-based and compensates for low framerates
  • Reset button (R) is now disabled by default
