📌 Rewriting the Code

Rewriting the Code is a growing virtual community of 10,000+ exceptional college and early career women with a passion for technology. They come from 700+ colleges and universities, and show their talent through engaging in projects, internships, hackathons, and volunteering for good.

📌 ACM W

ACM-W supports, celebrates, and advocates internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of the computing field, providing a wide range of programs and services to ACM members and working in the larger community to advance the contributions of technical women.

📌 SheGazette

She Gazette is a community for female students. They provide constant reminders about year-round scholarships, conferences and other programs. The community helps students connect with past achievers to educate, equip and empower them. They endeavor to elevate the academic pursuits of ambitious students by guaranteeing awareness about opportunities, followed by constant guidance, and help women embrace technology.

Harvard WECode runs the largest student-run women in tech conference in the world. Their mission is to cultivate the next generation of technical leaders, foster a network and community among collegiate engineers, and promote more female representation in the technical industry.

📌 Rails Girls

Rails Girls aims to give tools and a community for women to understand technology and to build their ideas. They provide self-hosted events to help women get introduced to the world of technology and learn about sketching, prototyping, basic programming, etc. with an emphasis on the Ruby language and Rails framework.

📌 Ada's List

Ada's List is an email based group that is open to all women (trans, intersex and cis) and all nonbinary people who are committed to changing the tech industry. It provides a space for women and nonbinary people around the world to connect with each other and feel open to talk about professional topics, share job opportunities, find mentors, etc. in order to encourage a more inclusive and diverse environment in the tech industry.

Women in Data Science The Women in Data Science initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field. Since 2015, WiDS is a global movement that includes a number of worldwide initiatives, as conferences, datathons, podcasts, an education outreach program and a workshop series.

1. Google Scholarships

• Generation Google Scholarship-Asia Pacific : Generation Google Scholarship: for women in computer science (formerly known as Women Techmakers Scholarship) was established to help aspiring students pursuing computer science degrees excel in technology and become leaders in the field. Selected students will receive $1,000 USD for the 2021-2022 school year. Generation Google Scholarship: for women in computer science will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, demonstrated leadership, and academic performance. Note - This scholarship is also available in North America region (https://buildyourfuture.withgoogle.com/scholarships/generation-google-scholarship/) , and is aimed at groups historically excluded from the technology industry, including Women, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander.

• Google Conference and Travel Scholarships At Google, we believe a diversity of attributes, experiences, and perspectives are needed to build tools that can change the world. 3. Palantir Global Impact Scholarship

Palantir has launched the Global Impact Scholarship to celebrate and support students from across the globe who are beginning careers in technology. We hope to encourage these students in their computer science, engineering, and technical studies, and celebrate their potential to become leaders in these fields. We especially encourage students from communities that are historically underrepresented in the field of technology to apply.

4. Nutanix .heart Women in Technology Scholarship

Nutanix strongly believes in the power of diversity and we want to increase the ratio of women on our engineering teams. So, we’re creating scholarships to help young women develop the skills they need to pursue their passion of computer science. We are offering up to ten scholarships to female students in the United States, India, UK and Serbia who want to apply their love of technology to make a positive impact on the industry and the planet.

5. Grace Hopper Celebration Scholarships

The GHC Scholars Program provides funds for women who are either undergraduate students, graduate students, or faculty to attend our Celebration. Women who get selected as scholars gain access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, and memories that will last a lifetime.

The Women at Microsoft Scholarship seeks to empower and enable high school women and non-binary people to go to college, realize the impact technology has on the world, and target a career in the technology industry.

8. Carolyn Leighton Scholarship

The Carolyn Leighton Scholarship is offered to students in the APAC region to attend the WITI APAC summit. The scholarship includes:

• Opportunity to attend 3 days of our global summit (You get to attend the summit for free)
• A certificate of participation in WITI’s 27th Annual Global Summit
• 1 year WITI membership

1. Google Codejam io for Women Code Jam to I/O for Women consists of a single online round competition in which you write code to solve algorithmic problems that have multiple layers of difficulty.

2. Google STEP Internship STEP (Student Training in Engineering Program), formerly known as Engineering Practicum, is a 12-week internship for first and second-year undergraduate students with a passion for computer science.

3. Girlscript Summer of Code GirlScript Summer of Code is the 3 month long Open Source program during summers conducted by GirlScript Foundation, started in 2018, with an aim to help beginners get started with Open Source Development while encouraging diversity.

4. Google Summer of Code Google Summer of Code is a global program focused on bringing more student developers into open source software development.

5. She Codes by Indeed Indeed invites women developers to join the coding sprint. SheCodes, Indeed event gives women an opportunity to showcase their skills by solving real-world problems and win some cool prizes. The coding sprint is an online event and includes several open-ended problem statements related to Indeed business.
