Installation

• Install via yay

yay -S gitcolorscripts

• Install manually

Download the binary inside of the bin/ folder and move it to /usr/bin/gitcolorscripts

mv ~/Downloads/gitcolorscripts /usr/bin/gitcolorscripts

Download the service file (gitcolorscripts.service) and add it to /usr/lib/systemd/system/

mv ~/Downloads/gitcolorscripts.service /usr/lib/systemd/system/

• Next thing to do is initialize a sample config

gitcolorscripts init

Next run the following command to update the data:

gitcolorscripts update

• You will also have to start the service which updates the cache

systemctl start gitcolorscripts

• Run the command to see your contributions

gitcolorscripts
