Creates tiles for most Windows 8.1 and 10 start menu icons
Changelog:
Firstly, sorry for the lack of updates. Honestly, I never expected this to get so much usage, as it was only ever released as a response to a question over on Superuser to show the source code didn't have anything malicious within. I certainly never expected quite as many stars as it currently has. When I wrote this originally I had a lot of spare time as I was mid travelling and didn't have any full time employment, and since then, personal and work life have got a lot busier.
I know however that the 20H2 Windows update broke some functionality, as it attempts to display translucency behind the icon. This is a feature a number of users actually wanted for a while (although stronger transparency would be ideal, and currently has no level of customisation I can tap into). However, this also broke a lot of colour schemes that users had set up.
This latest update builds the icon images differently to incorporate the background colour with the icon. This is switched based on whether you have the latest update or not to retain compatibility with older versions. A number of users have found a work around using a registry key to disable this functionality. You can of course retain it using this, however Microsoft could update and remove this functionality (in fact, I have concerns they may remove the functionality I use to create these icons in the first place).
Any old icons will need to be re-iconified to work with the new version. Either visit them all individually, or use Utilities -> Batch Shortcut Options to update all your background colours in one pass.
If you are on 20H2 with the new Start Menu enabled, you will have a new 'colour' in the dropdown named 'Default'. This will be the Windows default behaviour, which may or may not be translucent and based on your accent colour, depending on your personalisation settings. It is effectively how icons behaved before this update.
