ThunderSec for Mozilla Thunderbird

ThunderSec is a security extension for Mozilla Thunderbird that creates several pieces of additional security functionality. These security features include DNS-based Blackhole List (DNSBL) and Realtime Blackhole List (RBL) support for popular services such as Spamhaus, Composite Blocking List (CBL), SpamCop and Sorbs. ThunderSec also introduces support for Spam URI Realtime Blackhole Lists (SURBL). Additionally, you can define custom DNSBL, RBL and SURBL services of your choosing.

ThunderSec also introduces client-side checks for DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) and Sender Policy Framework (SPF) violations.

Whitelists can be used to mark DNSBL, SURBL, DKIM and SPF violations as legitimate for improved efficacy and user experience.
