SdrGlut V1.32 - Fixes a few bugs (diff file 1145 lines) - SdrGlut now has a device sync option where all open device windows track to the same frequency.

With the GLUT interface, you need to right click in a window to bring up its menus.

It has the prebuilt exe for MacOS Sierra, MacOS High Sierra, MacOS Mojave, MacOS Catalina and MacOS Big Sur and a native mode version for Apple-M1 Machines. The listen and the sdrReceive programs are in the packages. Download SdrGlut-1164-Install.dmg or SdrGlut-1164-M1-Install.dmg and install SdrGlut by dragging it to the Applications folder. On MacOS, xquartz needs to be installed (https://www.xquartz.org/releases/). If you are Using a SDRPlay device, SDRplay_RSP_API-MacOSX-3.07.3 needs to be installed. You can get it from -

Some people may need to install OpenAL on Windows. Get the two packages - OpenAL1.1.CoreSDK OpenAL 1.1 windows install from "https://www.openal.org/downloads" and install them.

SdrGlut-1164-Windows has the patched version of SoapyCR8600 for the Icom Ic-r8600 on Windows. You need to be sure that your IC-R8600 software is at version 1.30 or better and that you have installed the icr8600_usb_iq package -

SdrGlut V1.31 - Fixes a few bugs - SdrGlut now has a remote speaker option where the audio can be send to any machine on the local network running the listen program. This permits shortwave programs from the SDR connected to an outside antenna to be heard in other rooms. sdrReceive now has a devicestring input for those devices that need it. listen now has the -remotespeakers option to get that mode running.

SdrGlut V1.30 - Fixes a few bugs - It now saves audio in WAV format and it has a new audio window that reads and plays all of the audio types that the libsndfile library handles. The audio window has a seven channel audio equalizer.

Update - Fixed some problems with the Windows install versions.

What is new ?

SdrGlut has a Help Window that covers the basic operation of the program. SdrGlut can send I/Q data to other programs using TCP/IP or UDP modes. SdrGlut has fixed the db read output in the Spectrum Window - removing the incorrect CSMeter routines. SdrGlut has an extreme zoom for the Spectrum and Waterfall Windows. SdrGlut has automated some of the input for the Audio Recording Window. SdrGlut has fixed some data initialization errors that were causing random crashes. SdrGlut has finally worked around a system bug in Ubuntu 20.04 that was causing a crash. SdrGlut can set the VLC program mode for use with the decoding of real time TV.
