Update to version 1.3.1:

• Fixed a bug within Chopping Power that caused Salad to be unable to calculate if the node met the required minimal storage space.
• Removed the option to disable the container environment setup prompts. As our network has matured, we’ve relied more and more on chef PC’s being container-ready to provide a good earning experience. This is now considered a core part of Salad and the vast majority of chefs have setup the container environment. Chefs will be prompted to set the container environment up if they have not.
• Added better support resources in the container environment setup flow including a QR code that leads to the BIOS Virtualization Enabling guide for chefs who are struggling with this step.
• Added an advanced option to allow Salad to use more RAM for container workloads. This can be found in the Workload Preferences settings and is available to machines which have at least 16 GB of RAM.
• Made multiple updates and fixes to improve the reliability of container workloads.

• Backend networking communications improved. This change will allow us to be more responsive and reactive towards network needs, which leads to better workloads for chefs.

  • Balance Notification Update. As of 1.2.5, chefs will only receive one balance threshold achievement notification. Previously, some chefs received multiple balance threshold notifications for the same balance achievement.
  • Fixed an issue that triggered the machine onboarding setup screens over and over again for some users who had already set their workload preferences.

• Introduced new preferences for workloads in the app settings. This will allow users to opt-in to optional workload types.
• Updated the machine onboarding setup flow to ask chefs to make their choice regarding these optional workload types.
• Note to chefs: The first new type of optional workload we’re introducing are workloads that deal with Adult Content. To be absolutely clear, there are no such workloads live today, we wanted to introduce this setting ahead of time to allow you to make an informed choice.
