Recreation of the turn-based battle system from the first two Paper Mario games
Version 1.0 of PMBS, short for Paper Mario Battle System. It is a flexible and extensible open-source recreation of the battle system from the first two Paper Mario games.
Download the appropriate file for your platform and unzip it. On non-Windows platforms, you can run the binary in the folder through the terminal (Ex. ./PaperMarioBattleSystemUbuntu). Contained in the folder is a config file, which is described in more detail here.
The Z, X, and arrow keys are used for most in-game controls. You can toggle debug mode with LeftCtrl + D.
