Not only will people across the globe elect their next government in at least 64 countries, but they can also vote on which distinct app icons we should design next for our Anycon packs ;) While not as consequential, we want you to have a voice on how we can extend Anycons to improve your and everyone's home screen. Quality of Life Tweaks

🖋️ Enhanced Icon Assistant for Anycons With Icon Assistant, individually set Anycons sync across all your Anycon packs. Moreover, we fixed some issues with auto-restore; switching back to an Anycon pack now restores all your individually set icons.

👀 Refined Launcher Icons We've updated our launcher icons, making them slimmer for a sleeker, more contemporary appearance. This update applies to most icons within settings, dialogs, tips, and the Niagara button, excluding Anycon packs.

🔷 Simplified Icon Shape Selection When selecting an adaptive icon pack (i.e., where its icons can have different shapes), Niagara Launcher now asks you to choose a shape. You can learn more about the change here.

🐛 Bugfixes

• Resolved an issue where changing the clock style did not take effect on Android 9 devices
• Addressed a problem causing widgets not to display rounded corners as intended
• The calendar agenda now filters out duplicate calendar events Several issues seem to cause third-party widgets to sometimes disappear. We fixed a few of them, but probably not all. Please let us know if you notice any patterns in when your widgets disappear.
• Improved gesture navigation within the wallpaper collection, allowing the back gesture to close the open category rather than exiting the screen abruptly.
• Fix a bug with individually set Outlined Anycons. For further information, see this bug report.

☁️ Fix Google Drive 'Backup Too Large' Issue Google Drive's automatic backups are limited to 25MB per app. This limit can be exceeded for users who have been using Niagara Launcher for a long time, and the backup will fail. We reduced the size of the launchers so that Niagara Launcher gets backed up by Google Drive.

🔎 Search Improvements We tweaked the search algorithm so it shows more app results. Moreover, searching for apps with non-Latin script names is more consistent, as explained here.

🌅 Morning Mode: Don't activate it when a sunrise alarm starts When the screen turned on due to Google Clock's sunrise alarm (the screen slowly brightens before the alarm goes off), the launcher counted this towards phone usage and activated morning mode. Now, morning mode only activates when the user passes the lock screen. If you never heard about Morning Mode and are curious what it is, you can learn more about it here.

🐛 Switching clock styles should now work on all devices. Note that when the clock is minimized, it defaults to the default style. 🐛 Fixed a back navigation bug when opening the agenda sheet for the first time. 🔧 Enhanced troubleshooting process for resolving issues with active Niagara Pro memberships. 🌍 Thanks for your continued support! 🪨 New Anycon Marble pack Here's a video demonstrating the new pack.

🐛 Various Widget Bugfixes Widgets should now properly resize again. Moreover, some widgets that didn't show at all (like the Notion page widget) were fixed.

🍒 Edit Icons Screen Rework You can view the screen by opening Launcher Settings > Look > Icon pack > Edit icons individually. We added the option to show only apps missing a custom icon for quicker creation of cohesive setups. Also, we added information about which apps' icons were autocorrected by Icon Assistant.

• 🕑 You can now personalize your homescreen by choosing a clock style if you have Niagara Pro: long press the clock and tap on 'Clock style.' Note: Clock Styles are not final yet and are subject to change.
