Open-source IKEA Bekant controller board
Simple change/variant with a 2-pin 7812 package.
This release changes from a 3-pin header to a 5-pin header which will break out RX/TX pins for those using serial functionality, such as esphome.
The 5V regulator has been downsized slightly, but pulls power from the (original) beefy 12V regulator.
The width and height of the PCB have been reduced by 1mm in each direction to allow for manufacturing tolerances and fitment in the cases.
More great work by @philwmcdonald , this is the latest deemed "stable" ;) Serial is not compiled in the default version.
See the example flash.bat for how to flash using avrdude
.

This uses smaller SMD components and the layout simplified pick and place for passives and hand-assembly of other components. DIY'ers can and should just stick to a previous version of the board (v4) unless they prefer 0605/0805 over 1206.
