Content Collector Standalone

This uses pyinstaller to group all the scripts necessary to run Content Collector into a single executable.

To use, download and extract the release file which corresponds to your operating system.

Then, double-click or execute the ContentCollector executable to start the server.

Finally, open https://localhost:8888 in any web browser on your machine. See ReadMe.org for usage of the web server.

Security

I generated the certificate to make first-time use as easy as possible. However, you should generate your own certificate if you plan on running Content Collector on an untrusted network, or on the internet.

You can do this with the Generate_Certificates.sh script, which will require you have openssl installed on your machine.

Known Issues

The Linux versions of this release have a known issue: If you are trying to download only from Pixiv, the downloader will fail. This is fixed by be746bb5e1609e3571a3b43039f1b89cade53d8e , and will be fixed in the next release. To work around it, please provide a Tumblr or Reddit account as well.
