Hotfix for crash related to Bluetooth permission (added android.permission.BLUETOOTH_CONNECT to manifest). If the app still crashes on start, check if your phone has a separate permission for "Nearby Devices" and that it is enabled for the app.

The Android app skeleton now uses love-android repository instead of older love-android-sdl2. This brings better latency across more devices than before.

Changes in instruments:

• Fix for occasional clicks and similar sound issues
• Fix for sound breakdown after instrument is changed many times
• Fix for glitch in choir instrument

Changes for v36 (not released on Github as it had major sound issues):

• Built-in looper! Record instrument and play against it on any other instrument
• Sample recording now loops better without noticeable seam
• Fix crashing in two instruments that allow selecting tonal key

This release had quite big change in lower layers of framework, as both love2d and soft-openal were upgraded. Most significant new feature is working access to microphone.

The Hexpress code also went through lot of under-surface changes in how instruments are instantiated and how notes are passed around the app.

• Improved visuals across few instruments
• Wider touch radius for electrobeat pads

Unfortunately, the official Hexpress app throws errors on start, for some small percentage of phones. For that purpose, the compatibility version was created.

This is a workaround:

• Install LÖVE for Android app and check that it runs without errors
• Download compatibility release and extract to /sdcard/ directory on phone (this is where Download, Music, Videos directories are located)
• Make sure that /sdcard/lovegame/main.lua exists
• Run LÖVE for Android app and enjoy
