• First release.
• Allows font icons to be easily included in R Markdown documents.
• Provides support for Font Awesome, Academicons, and Ionicons icon libraries.
• Some control options for the icons are possible, including icon colour, rotation, size and animations.

Note: this release has not (and will not) be submitted to CRAN. This is in part due to a package named 'ICON' being submitted to CRAN, requiring the name of this package to change. It is also because later versions of the package involved a complete rewrite with a revised interface and support for SVG icons.
