A (defunct) tool for merging and organizing exported Google Photos backups. Built with React and Electron!
This small update fixes an issue with some files' metadata not having all the fields referenced in the code (Issue #6 and part of #8).
This is an important update to the Google Photos Export Organizer! Previous versions should no longer be used.
This version adds metadata control. It will now update the created and modified dates of your files when it moves them, and you have the option to explicitly re-insert all available Exif metadata into JPEG images in case the Google Takeout did not include them.
This also fixes the folders in Step 4 not opening correctly.
Minor update to fix the URL linking to the associated blog post.
It also adds a warning about Google Takeout metadata and scrolls to the top when moving to a different step.
This is the first launch version for Google Photos Export Organizer!
It includes the ability to extract and merge .zip backup files downloaded from Google Takeout and the ability to organize those extracted and merged folders into a more easy to view year/month format.
