Get Started

You are not sure how to start working with Excel spreadsheets in .NET using GemBox.Spreadsheet? Check the code below that shows how to create an XLSX file from scratch and write 'Hello World!' in first cell

// If using Professional version, put your serial key below.
SpreadsheetInfo.SetLicense("FREE-LIMITED-KEY");

// Create a new empty workbook.
var workbook = new ExcelFile();

// Add a worksheet to it.
var worksheet = workbook.Worksheets.Add("Sheet1");

// Write to the first cell.
worksheet.Cells["A1"].Value = "Hello World!";

// Save the workbook as Excel's XLSX file.
