Espressif's Voice Assistant SDK: Alexa, Google Voice Assistant, Google DialogFlow
This is a major feature update to the ESP-VA-SDK.
It has taken some time to get this release out. But this release includes a major update to the Alexa stability and certification completeness.
Initial configuration of the Alexa device is now significantly improved, particularly because the entire operation is carried out over BLE. This ensures a complete feedback can be provided to the user about the exact status of the operation. The Android app is now also available in the Play Store for quick evaluation. The iOS app will be coming soon.
On the certification updates, the release now can pass all the self-certification test cases for Alexa (for select hardware boards). Whereas on the stability side, besides fixing a number of corner cases and issues, this release also has completed our 100-hour long stress test. In terms of music services support, a wider variety of stations are now supported due to enhancements to the playlist parsers.
The release also includes directory structure changes that make it really simple for developers to add support for their boards. The board support package neatly abstracts out all the board specific components, and customisations are possible at multiple levels of simplification-flexibility.
Support for additional development boards, and a detailed documentation will be updated soon.
