After three years of (albeit inconsistent) work, the ElkArte Community is pleased to announce the release of the stable version of ElkArte 1.1, the first minor update to the ElkArte 1.x line of software.
Talking about a "minor" release sounds a bit diminished, since many things were changed, especially in the code, but still we decided not to increase the major version because anyway the changes are not too architecturally deep.
But, as usual, the best way to know about ElkArte is to download the software and install it in order to discover all the features, and if you have any doubt feel free to join the forum at elkarte.net and ask!
The ElkArte Community is pleased to announce the second ElkArte 1.1 Release Candidate is now available. The release candidate is usually the last development step before release a stable version, made available to allow a final round of testing on what will be the first major version of ElkArte, though it's still considered a development version and as such is not recommended for production use.
In order to help us release ElkArte, anyone using the new version, is encouraged to report bugs, issues or errors at our GitHub Issue Tracker.
If you don't want to register at github to report bugs through the formal bug reporting system, you can create a new topic at ElkArte.net and let us know about the problem you encountered or the improvement you would like to see in ElkArte.
We look forward to receiving your feedback on this release candidate of ElkArte!

Today, we are pleased to release ElkArte 1.0.10. This is a security release and fixes some security issues that were found and reported in ElkArte. It also contains few other fixes for bugs identified since the release of 1.0.9. As this is a maintenance release, the majority of the updates are focused on bug fixes and increased stability. This is a critical security update and we strongly encourage anyone running any previous version.
This release follows our semantic version (MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH), meaning that third-point (x.x.X) releases should contain backwards-compatible bug fixes and enhancements, so for the most part you will not find new features in this release. Major new features will be reserved for second point versions (x.X.x).
Refer to the release notes on the forum for a complete list of updates.
