Known Issues

• Theme switching based on brightness is currently broken for all versions of Dynamic Dark Mode running on macOS Mojave 10.14.4 (maybe even in 10.14.3) or later due to an internal change by Apple (#65). I'm currently researching on how to fix the issue, but feel free to submit a PR. Checkout our wiki page for places to start your investigation.

• Lost focus when theme switches while you are working on something else? That's no longer an issue (except if the app you are using is a menu bar app, Dynamic Dark Mode for example) (#62).

• You can now disable brightness based dark mode when scheduled dark mode is on, since some of you asked how Dynamic Dark Mode determines what's the best theme for you (#58). This option is disabled by default and you may opt-in through the app preferences yourself.
• Now you can add dark mode toggle to your touch bar. This feature has been implemented by @CaptainYukinoshitaHachiman a long time ago, but I wasn't able to test it myself and add it to preferences until recently. It is ON by default for discoverability (sorry but not everyone reads release notes) and can be disabled. Since it requires using a private framework (DFRFoundation), please let me know if Dynamic Dark Mode starts to behave strangely.
• Dynamic Dark Mode will update schedule once your location is updated with the re-connection to Internet, if you are using scheduled dark mode (#55)
• Shout out to @suschizu for updating homebrew cask :)

Wonder why I'm releasing this today? Good question. I get to use my mom's colleague's personal computer while he stays in my home. Honestly speaking, I don't want to use my MacBook Pro mid-2012 any more. My laptop is SOOOO SLOW...... I just can't believe what I was using is actually a computer! I really wish to work on some new features before he leave/before WWDC, but I have AP exams in the next two weeks, so we'll see what's gonna happen. Sorry 😐)
