Welcome to Dillo 3.0. Our main project, the blender.community portal, has grown considerably and with it we have tweaked and extended the capabilities of the web framework.

• Support for Vue.js based comments (with attachments)
• Community following and unfollowing mechanism
• Support for custom post attributes, depending on the community they belong to
• New search and filtering system

Dillo 2.0 is here! We are now powering a brand new website called blender.community.

Dillo is an extension of the Pillar framework.

Main features:

• Built-in search
• Multi-language support
• Fast. (not that 1.0 was slow, but this is like, crazy fast)

Besides all the bells and whistles, the new Dillo is an extension of the Pillar framework. Pillar is developed and maintained by the Blender Animation Studio, powering services such as Blender Cloud, Attract, and Flamenco. Meaning that all the core features (comments, authentication, and so on) will have support and fixes much faster than when Dillo was a stand-alone application, leaving time to develop more Dillo specific features!

First official release of Dillo! Dillo is your free and open web platform created to support crowd-driven content. The main features of this release are:

• Multiple types of posts
• Multiple image storage backends
• Complete admin backend
• Support for local sign-in, as well as OAuth
• Role-based access to content
