Decensooru [RIP 10.2017-7.2020]

So, this is the end of the road, boys. While the current version of the block on Danbooru's side is bypassable with relatively little headache, the greedy fucks have threatened to remove the banned results from non-gold searches entirely, which would throw a massive wrench into everything. Now, it would still be possible to make Decensooru work even then (though with a few asterisks), doing so would complicate the project massively and use far too much of my time that I'm not willing to spend, and as hilarious as it would be watching the aforementioned greedy fucks spend the time on damaging their own site for the sake of preventing the few dozen Decensooru users from viewing the sweet, sweet banned content, I think the benefit to the greater good of not stirring the hornets' nest and allowing people to run their own private Decensoorus on the current version would outweigh this short-lived burst of gloating satisfaction; therefore, I recommend you to migrate to sites not run by assholes.

(Though it should be noted that the module responsible for showing individual images from the post pages (not search pages) still works (though I don't think many people will benefit from this in their fapflow) and I will continue updating batches for the foreseeable future (it's automated anyway))

Addon userscript for Better Better Booru v.8.0+ for revealing hidden content on Danbooru.

Usage

1. Install decensooru.user.js (gm4 version if you have Greasemonkey 4 on FF57+, normal one for any other combination (including Tampermonkey and Violentmonkey)).
2. Install better-better-booru.user.js, after uninstalling the currently installed script if necessary.
3. Enable the 'placeholder' options for all desired hidden content in BBB settings.

Decensooru occasionally (including upon the first start) pulls update batches and stores them in localstorage. You will be notified when this happens by a text box in the top right corner. Your browser may freeze for up to 30 seconds when the full batch is pulled (this only happens upon the initial load and when you're severely out of date). When it is done, refresh any pages and magic should happen. If anything remains hidden, it's likely not in a batch yet. Retry tomorrow and fap to something else in the meantime. If any post older than a day is still hidden, something went wrong and you should contact me.
