This release makes it compatible with SSAS extension 2.9.10, SSRS extension 2.6.7, and SSIS extension 2.4 or 3.7. This release solved a problem which was causing BI Developer Extensions to break once a new SSDT release comes out. This fix should hopefully allow it to be less fragile to new SSDT releases in the future for a while.

The "BI.Developer.Extensions.2.3.3.for.VS2017.vsix" and "BI.Developer.Extensions.2.3.3.for.VS2019.vsix" download is not recommended since it is not the latest. It is made available in case you need to install a historical version of BI Developer Extensions with an older SSDT. To prevent auto upgrade to the latest version, disable "automatically upgrade this extension" in Tools... Extensions and Updates.

This release now gracefully handles when not all SSDT extensions (SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS) are installed. All SSIS features have been tested and fixed so they work even when only the SSIS extension has been installed. Similarly all SSAS features have been tested to work when only the SSAS extension is installed. Under Tools... Options... BIDS Helper... Version there is a screen showing which extensions and versions have been installed to aid in troubleshooting. It also warns you when you need to upgrade your SSAS/SSIS/SSRS extensions to a version that's supported.
This release also switches BI Developer Extensions to load somewhat asynchronously. The impact is that BI Developer Extensions menu items and features will only be available about 15 seconds after Visual Studio project opens. We are taking feedback (on the Issues tab) on this change.
