The Better xCloud Android app (Beta) is now available for testing. It's recommended to use this over Kiwi Browser.

✨ Changelogs

Added

• Add an option to limit maximum video bitrate (1-14 Mb/s)
  • Default maximum video bitrate on xCloud server is 15 Mb/s
  • Set value to "Unlimited" will disable this feature
  • This feature is for reducing the quality of the stream
  • ⚠️ Don't use this feature unless your device is struggling with high bitrate stream
  • It's unstable and may cause crashes
• Add ability to disable or adjust gyroscope's sensitivity on custom touch layouts that support it
• New "Game Bar" feature with these functions: (available on all devices)
  • Taking screenshot
  • Show/hide touch control
  • Mute/unmute microphone. You need to turn on the microphone in xCloud's settings first.
• New animation when taking screenshot

Changed

• Using User-Agent profiles of devices like TV or VR will also disable touch features in Better xCloud.
  • ⚠️ After updating to this version, the User-Agent setting will be reset. You’ll need to set it again.
• Update & optimize translations

Fixed

• Fix the emulated M&KB feature not being disabled in native M&KB games

• Rewrite the volume control feature (allows increasing volume up to 600%). It should work now and no longer makes the audio buggy/choppy. Not tested with voice chat though. If it doesn't work please create an issue.

How to use

• Go to script’s Settings > Stream > Enable volume control feature.
• Play a game, open Settings > change the volume value

• Add a separate "Refresh button" in the Stream menu to refresh the stream (#315). No longer have to hold the Quit button.
• Add "Smart TV" and "Meta Quest VR" User-Agent profiles. Using these profiles will disable touch features on the website and improve the performance a tiny bit.
• Add ability to use "Normal" website layout on Smart TV (Settings > UI > Layout).
