After quite some time, we're proud to release version 4.0.0 of the Beluga Project. This release fixes #2,#3,#4 and #14.

Changes:

  • Add VRS feeder as supported feeder
  • Add flightroute data from VRS
  • Add Airplanes-Live API (next to Opensky-Network API)
  • Display selected aircraft on 3D-Map (with Cesium Ion - Cesium API key required)
    • Show animated aircraft model and trail
    • Show Google photogrammetry or OSM 3D buildings
    • Cockpit mode, Follow-Plane Mode
    • High Quality mode, HDR, clouds
  • Add trail from Opensky-Network - (currently disabled because of wrong data from opensky)

  • Improve dark mode
  • Different map styles (like satellite, dark maps)

  • 2D-Map is now multi world, zoom out is possible

  • Settings are saved across multiple sessions in the browser
