Updated version of the ArcGIS Editor for OSM Desktop 10.0 and 10.1 are now available, and we are excited to announce the release of ArcGIS Editor for OSM 10.2.

It is highly recommended that if you were using a previous release of the ArcGIS Editor for OSM for contributing data to OpenStreetMap, you update your installation to this new release. The update includes performance improvements, accounts for OSM node IDs being 64 bit integers, addresses issues with how the geometry of contributed edits are uploaded to OSM, and includes updates to the Create OSM Network Dataset capabilities.

To apply the update, do the following:

  1. Download the updated installer from the provided ArcGIS Online page.
  2. Uninstall your previous version of ArcGIS Editor for OpenStreetMap.
  3. Run the setup.exe in the .zip file you downloaded in Step 1.
  4. When the setup is complete, the OpenStreetMap Toolbox will be available in your System Toolboxes when you launch ArcMap and browse in the catalog window (this is no change from the previous 10.1 release, but will be a new location for users of 10.0).
