v0-2-1N

This is native-build release

native-build requires gmsh-api, an open-source 3D finite element mesh generator.

  • Doesn't overwrite the existing numpy installation.
  • Fixed few issues with gmsh-api.
  • Removed hull mode in design-space definition.

For more advanced results, please consider installing a taichi-build release.

This is a taichi-build release

taichi-build requires spgrid_topo_opt, a Narrow-Band Topology Optimization framework developed by Haixiang Liu (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Yuanming Hu (MIT CSAIL), Bo Zhu (Dartmouth College), Wojciech Matusik (MIT CSAIL), Eftychios Sifakis (University of Wisconsin-Madison).

  • Accurate and reliable results.
  • 2.5x faster than native-build
  • Cuda support.
  • Tested on Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04.

anton is an open-source generative design framework built on Blender, the open-source 3D creation suite. At its current stage of development, anton uses a density-based topology optimization methodology as a design generator and uses implicit surfaces for mesh generation.
