Note: Update deck provided for Type 1 deck. During import of Type.1.-.New.HSK.3.0.Mandarin.Chinese__Update.apkg in Anki, select Update notetypes -> always, after that delete the Update deck.

If you are using Type 4 deck, then update card template by downloading Type.4.-.xiehanzi.HSK.3.0__Update.apkg , select Update notetypes -> always, after that delete the Update deck.

Deck Type

Type 1

The deck contains separate decks for each types.

• Learn Strokes order of characters
• Learn Meaning of characters
• Learn Pinyin or Zhuyin of characters
• Learn Pronunciation using audio and Pinyin or Zhuyin

The deck is sorted in frequency order.

Type 2

The deck contains five card types in each HSK level notes.

• Learn Strokes order of characters
• Learn Meaning of characters
• Learn Pinyin or Zhuyin of characters
• Learn Pronunciation using audio and Pinyin or Zhuyin
• Learn Tone marks of characters

The deck is sorted in frequency order.

Create

Create Anki-xiehanzi deck from simplified word, paragraph and file containing simplified characters.

Five notes type

The deck contains notes with five note types to practice meaning, pinyin or zhuyin, audio, tone marks and writing of characters. The card types are

1. Learn meaning of characters
2. Learn Pinyin or Zhuyin of characters
3. Learn pronunciation using audio and Pinyin or Zhuyin
4. Learn tone marks of characters
5. Learn strokes order of characters

Colored strokes

The strokes color matches the tone color of the first pinyin if multiple pinyin exists.

Pinyin correction

• Pinyin is corrected using data export from Pleco. https://github.com/infinyte7/Anki-xiehanzi/commit/2bc3e55c5b7b8e30e2a04ed6d628c677c3030ce3 It is removed in next update.

There are two files in the release

• .apkg file to imported in Anki
• .txt file (HSK 1 to HSK 9 words list)
