Android device configuration for ZUK Z2 (z2_plus)
All credit for the changes in this release goes to @cosmedd If you experience radio/baseband issues, or crashes when connecting to WiFi, please update your firmware to a newer version.
Please wipe system, dalvik and cache before flashing. Remember that you need to flash Gapps again if you use them.
This is my last public release for some time, as I'm stepping away from development. A more detailed explanation can be read here.
Thanks to all contributors, donors and users for all the help, suport and friendliness over these months. Cheers!
Please wipe system, dalvik and cache before flashing. Remember that you need to flash your Gapps again (if you're using them) after the ROM, or you'll lose them.
Big shoutout to @cosmedd! As many of you know, the last months we've been working together on a commonized tree for z2_plus and z2_row, and he's been hard at work to fix bugs. In fact, all the important fixes in this release are his doing!
Please wipe system, dalvik and cache before flashing. Remember that when you wipe system, you need to flash Gapps again after the ROM or you'll lose them.
Remember how two releases ago I said the release had many changes? Forget that, this one is probably the most changes that have ever been in a release so far. Things may break, but this time it's more tested than before. I'm going to go over the existing issues because some of them are probably obsolete. I expect some new issues to arise, but that's the way things are, it's impossible to get everything up to date (as we've done for this release) without inadvertently breaking some stuff. This release will not be available via OTA. Please flash it manually, and make sure to wipe system, dalvik and cache before flashing, in order to prevent useless bugreports.
This update features a new kernel, so changes are many and unexpected things may occur. Some bugs that were fixed before may come back, and others may disappear on their own. I highly recommend doing a clean update for this version (i.e. full wipes before flashing) in order to prevent possible errors.
