Wan connection packages ( linux-atm, ppp, rp-pppoe, bridge-utils ) regressed to their vendor version due to widespread incompatibilities. For any purpose, the updated packages are still available here (manual installation only).

Mediaserver (minidlna) now includes opus file support and some tunings on configuration settings.
Minor assorted code fixes.

Added error code messages support on GUI in addition to some scripts improvements.
curl embeds now c-ares lib to improve async dns support, fixing curl's cmd line timeout support (e.g. home gui's opkg update & certs downloads). It's now possibile to connect an https web server in secure mode (avoiding -k option ) because ca-bundle.crt SSL certificate store file is also included & supported.
mini_httpd updated to its very latest version including Netgear/Sercomm mandatory modifications, with some code cleanups & revisions.
bftpd ftp server daemon updated to its very latest version avoiding security & memory leaks, including Netgear/Sercomm mandatory modifications and skipping its useless execution in conjunction with lan/wan ftp service disabled on: Advanced/Storage Usb/Readyshare GUI section.
Transmission torrent daemon added: for best usage performance, it's recommended to read wiki guide.

Removed openssl's zlib dependence due to possible security leaks. Zlib package still present to support many other unrelated packages.
Removed liblzo code & support from openvpn package due to possible security leaks. Removed also the weakest cipher & digest algos from settings and switched the defaults to GCM & SHA based only. It's recommended to update & renew all client configurations in use.
Mini_httpd updated with some code revisions. In particular, set-cookie stage adding SameSite: Lax cookie attribute in place of none to prevent http cookie's rejection from browsers in the next future: (read).
Samba moved from SMB1 to SMB2 protocol with some settings changes (if needed, (/usr)/etc/samba.conf/smb.conf can be edited with vi or with ancistrus-->Core Setup-->Utilities-->Edit a File GUI button, making modifications/appends at the bottom and then rerun the samba service).
Builtin upload qos speedtest replaced by automate script downloading & running last speedtest binary version.
Minidlna UPNP mediaserver updated from the original one, embedding all required libraries to save flash space, and updating them to their latest versions with some setting/configure adaptations. In particular, ffmpeg libavcodec now supporting native hevc, vc1, vp8/9 codecs and some more. Improved media server package settings and treatments, including patches & fixes to improve reliability and interoperability. In addition, included the possibility of selecting single storage devices' media dirs to include in place of the whole shared device reducing database creation lags (read).

Openvpn includes renewed keys & certs with md5 digest replaced by more secure sha256 and 4096 pem bit size. New gui webpage available on Ancistrus/Management/Openvpn with some setting improvements like cipher & digest config option choices and personal option additions. See wiki for details.
Iproute2 has been regressed to 3.5.1 to match kernel version including fq_codel patches (avoiding netlink: 20 bytes leftover after parsing attributes dmesg warning on ip execution) and now it's included into qos-sqm .
Qos-sqm 2.0.0 package includes many modifications. See wiki for details: test reports always welcome.
