Release Notes

Enhancements:

• Update symbols to better comply with the KLC (#11)
• Make library compatible with Kicad's built-in Package & Content Manager (PCM) (#10)
• Switch license to CC-BY-SA-4.0 (#9)
• New chip: The VIC (6560/6561/6562/6563)
• New chip: The VIC-II (6567/6569/6572/6573/8562/8565)

• Define a "default" footprint, in addition to footprint filters. This is a new feature in KiCad 6 which I was previously unaware of. It allows enables footprint preview in the symbol selection dialogue. See Issue #8

• Add correct pin pitches for W65C134 and W65C265: parts 0.8mm and 0.65mm, respectively. Many thanks to AndrewP of the 6502.org forum. #7
• Relax filters for QFP parts so users can more easily choose between (P|L|T|V|M) QFP parts. LQFP may be "technically correct" in most cases, but is not usually the easiest footprint to hand-solder, so leaving it to the user to choose the specific variant of footprint based on their use case seems sensible.

• Upgrade symbol library to the KiCad 6's new "S-Expressions" format. This change breaks compatibility with KiCad 5. #6
• Add the WDC Microcontrollers (W65C265 and W65C134). #4
• Miscellanious fixes to documentation and footprint filters. #5
