DevSpace Cloud ⚡ Turn Kubernetes into a Powerful Developer Platform (new on-premise edition)

v0.2.2

v0.2.2

  • Update hasura to beta9
  • Improve hasura migrations
  • Fix issue in default gatekeeper rules that prevented pods from starting
  • Fix issue where spaces couldn't be created with gatekeeper enabled
  • Several small UI enhancements

v0.2.1

  • Fix issue with sleep mode where disabling sleeping spaces would not wake them up
  • Fix issue in default rego rules where allowed ingress annotation was missing

v0.2.0

DevSpace CLI version >v4.1.0 is required to work with this cloud version

Changes:

  • Space Domains were removed (the database will be migrated automatically). The new concept is to use Limits -> Allowed Ingress Hosts. This makes it easier and more flexible to use, since you can specify multiple allowed hosts within the limits. In addition, the variables ${DEVSPACE_SPACE_NAMESPACE}, ${DEVSPACE_SPACE} and ${DEVSPACE_USERNAME} can be used within the allowed hosts.
  • Changed the Space -> Domains view to Space -> Network. In this new view ingresses can be configured and viewed
  • Open Policy Agent Gatekeeper can now be deployed into a cluster. There are several default rules that are deployed by default which basically replace previously enforced rules by the admission controller. The admission controller still handles some mutating rules (e.g. tolerations, nodename).
  • New Cluster -> Rules view, where Gatekeeper rules can be configured. Individual rules can be turned on and off in the cluster / cluster user / space rules
  • Added custom space namespace annotations and labels.

Miscellaneous

  • Updated helm (will now work with 1.16 clusters)
  • Updated hasura
  • Updated cert-manager and ingress controller versions
  • Fixed several smaller UI issues
  • Several small UI enhancements
