0.3.0

This is the first numbered release and accumulates the lessons learned from the previous releases in order to make BitWrk a useful tool for Blender users.

Apart from user interface enhancements, both in the BitWrk client as well as in the Blender add-on panel, this release sports some major new features:

  • Support for Blender 2.70 (including 2.70a).
  • Accelerated transmission times. A de-duplication algorithm compresses data that is transmitted between clients.

A total of 39 changes were committed, consisting of 24 enhancements and 15 bug fixes. The complete list of changes can be seen here: http://github.com/indyjo/bitwrk/issues?milestone=3&state=closed

Note: If you use the binary downloads, you need to download two files:

  • The bitwrk package for your OS and platform.
  • The bitwrk-blender package that contains the python scripts needed to integrate BitWrk with Blender.
