AutoBleem - Alternative to BleemSync/BootMenu, C++ based, GameScanner and Updater for Playstation Classic
Change Log:
0.7.1 - FIXED: ClassicUI incompatibility
NOTE: CoverDBs are not changed - please use assets from previous release
EvoUI: In the game menu you can now set a USB game to be a favorite.
EvoUI: A "thumbs up" icon is displayed in the game info on the carousel when the game is a favorite.
EvoUI: There is a "select" section that shows you only your favorite games.
EvoUI: The line at the top now displays the number of games in each selection.
EvoUI: The line at the top has been split into two lines. The top line is the "Showing:" line as before but now in the UI menu you can set the timeout for how long you want that line to stay on the screen. A setting of 0 will have the line stay on screen. The second line is used for other messages like the L1/R1 go to the next/prev first letter in the carousel. That line has the original 2 second delay before it goes away.
EvoUI: The game display in the carousel now shows the game serial number and the region. The game serial number in the BIN or PBP file uniquely identifies the game and is what is used get get the game cover from the cover database. If your cover is the yellow Bleem 404 cover and the display does not show a serial number then that is why AutoBleem doesn't know what cover to display.
Autobleem/PCSX: Partial support for compatible wired (and cheap dongle based 2.4ghz) gamepads. To configure gamepad just connect it before powering the console. Unfortunately we can not make Analogue to work this way in PCSX :(
PCSX: New PCSX build with added support for some gamepads
Bugfixes
As agreed and with big thanx to with genderbent Retroboot for AutoBleem is now official part of AutoBleem package. If you want RetroArch/RetroBoot version just download RB package.
Please welcome Axanar/@ChocoNutDancer as our new developer who worked hard to get this release finished
AutoBleem
- New default themes by Kevzombie
- We reverted back to Flat covers for a moment as ... they matches internal games covers and look better in EvolutionUI
- EvolutionUI .. totally rewritten game selector based on original PSC GUI but not limited as the original
(Use triangle to see description of button usage in EvolutionUI)
- EvolutionUI should handle more than 450 games
- Four selectable resume point slots instead one as in SonyUI (similar as in SNES gui)
- New options to select widescreen (16:9) or 4:3 screen (as some people just hates black bars)
- New optimised build of PSCX by AutoBleem Team with fixes for billinear filter, resume points ( the option to select PCSX build is removed - AutoBleem will not use PSCX build from console any more)
- New option in PSCX menu to toggle GFX filter when in game
- New option to safely POWER OFF CONSOLE using L2+R2 buttons .. this should be the way to power off... Power button on the console works in a bit unexpected way - try not to use it
- Stability upgrades
- All sounds from console now work in AutoBleem and EvolutionUI
- New translations - Slovak, Spanish, Turkish - some of them are not complete until final 0.6.0
- EvolutionUI plays BGM (as requested by people in Reddit) and still uses same Themes as original SonyUI
- RetroArch crash or quit goes back to AutoBleem now
- Scanning engine now can create folders for games dropped into "Games" folder (this is experimental and may not work for all games)
- All internal and USB games are now visible in EvolutionUI
- Added configurable timeout for QuickBoot
###Known issues
- Memory card manager is not yet available in EvolutionUI - we are working on it
- EvoluionUI can not edit internal game configuration at the moment
###Upgrade
As usual - remove your folders except games and retroarch and copy from new package, or just build new install. Make sure you run rescan on first boot
If you already have AutoBleem installed just replace "AutoBleem" and "themes" folders using the *-full.zip package, then erase "System" folder from USB stick (AutoBleem will create new one).

Download NEW COVERDB from this release ... the old coverDB had incorrect data year. It is fixed in new version. You can still use old ones but you will stuck with year 2000 on all games
Un-zip release v0.5.0 somewhere on your PC
MAKE A BACKUP of
Remove folders from USB stick EXCEPT 'Games', 'RetroArch', 'System' and 'themes' this include 028c18a9-ec4b-4632-b2cf-d4e20f252e8f, cbleemsync and lolhack as new structure is needed for 0.5
Copy folders back from v0.5.0 package into USB
Install your selected cover databases into {your_usb}/Autobleem/bin/db folder
Copy back file autobleem.list from your cbleemsync backup into {your_usb}/Autobleem/bin/autobleem folder
Put USB back to Playstation Classic
First run may show that it is upgrading and you have to wait (autobleem fixes game metadata). This operation may be a bit slow .. be patient :)
Rescan games
Edit your options in "Select" menu up to your preferences (old settings are gone)
You are now on v0.5.0
This release should be much more stable than 0.1
