TunnelBear Blocker for Chrome is:

✔ Handsome - Powerful online privacy protection wrapped in a simple, handsome bear design

✔ Powerful - Sure, it can block simple ads, but it can also block scripts, trackers, flash, fingerprinting (beta), email tracking, ultrasonic tracking, and more (coming soon)

✔ Whitelist - Block everything like a ruthless privacy dictator or show a little love to privacy-friendly content publishers — you decide

✔ Free and open source

Does TunnelBear Blocker replace TunnelBear VPN?

Not at all! TunnelBear Blocker is designed to compliment TunnelBear VPN. Combine TunnelBear Blocker with TunnelBear VPN to keep your browsing habits private from more sources like ISPs, hackers, and websites that track your IP address.

Are there plans to support browsers other than Chrome?

TunnelBear Blocker is an ongoing project, and we are definitely looking to support the various popular browsers on the market today. Stay tuned!

TunnelBear Blocker is based off of uBlock Origin, and we would like to thank its developers for all the tremendous hard work they have put in to make such a fantastic blocker.

Additionally, we would like to thank the maintainers of the various list filters for their tremendous work and contribution to the community, along with the developers behind PixelBlock, whose works are used as part of TunnelBear Blocker.

The goal of TunnelBear Blocker is NOT to supersede uBlock Origin, but to offer a simpler, user-friendly alternative for a broader audience.

TunnelBear Blocker was developed with love in Toronto, Canada, by a group of privacy-loving individuals who believe in simple privacy for everyone.
