The open source Mac XMPP messenger with class

Project README

Osprey is a free and open source Mac instant messaging client for XMPP networks such as Google Talk or Facebook. While there are many clients for Mac that also offer great features, most of them do not feel native or are no longer maintained. Osprey tries to change that by bringing a lightweight application with a minimalistic interface to the Mac.

Please note, that Osprey is yet in a very early stage. Thus, expect things to break and don't hesitate to report errors you encounter to our issue tracker.

If you just like to help, but don't know how, also just drop us a line or two and we will find a suitable task,

However, when you see something that needs improvement, you are always welcome to submit it as an issue. Every issue or idea will be looked into, no matter how silly or small it might seem. Of course, if you can find it in your heart, feel free to implement fixes or new features yourself and send them to us in a pull request. We promise not to bite!

Also, Osprey was founded by developers and not designers. So if you enjoy pushing pixels, just get in touch with us via Twitter and enjoy our everlasting gratitude.
