Evaluation metrics and benchmarks for the Hewlett Foundation's Automated Student Assessment Prize: Automated Essay Scoring competition.

length_benchmark.py creates a sample submission by training a Random Forest for each essay set from the character and word count features. It requires scikit.learn and the data files to be placed in the data directory to run.
